Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva - Overseeing Pediatric Critical Care in Michigan
With over three decades of experience, Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva is a pediatric critical care practitioner at the Children's Hospital of Michigan. Since 2021, he has guided a pediatric ICU unit that treats trauma and burns, cardiac critical care, and transplants. Working closely with nursing and hospital administration, Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva helps ensure consistent quality of care. In 2022, he also launched a new neurocritical care program.
Since 2005, Dr. Sachdeva has served as the chief scientific officer at Virtual Pediatric ICU Systems (VPS, LLC), a collaborative effort of the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and the Children’s Hospital Association. His efforts have helped validate the severity of illness scores across various reports and groupings of analytical data.
Dr. Sachdeva maintains longstanding certification in sleep medicine and pediatric critical care with the American Board of Pediatrics. He has guided the Section of Quantitative Health Sciences for the Department of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin and spearheaded efforts that boosted faculty development and research. A respected voice in his field, Dr. Sachdeva holds an appointed role as associate editor of the journal Pediatric Critical Care.
